High-grade timber sawing

For the cutting of particularly valuable deciduous or coniferous trees, we offer a number of special solutions that aim to further increase the cutting yield. These include multi-sensor technology and mechanization allowing for an assessment of the wood on all four sides.

Using a special camera system developed in cooperation with the company Bidac, we are able to photograph the surfaces of the wood and display the captured images to the operator on a screen – along with the cutting pattern provided by the optimization program based on contour measurement.

The operator can intervene at any time to adjust the cutting pattern on the image shown and the alignment axis and release the wood for cutting after correction. The assessment is carried out in a buffer position before the alignment table, so that no downtimes are incurred.
